What is the process to scrap my car?
When you deliver your vehicle in to us it will be weighed on our weighbridge and you will be offered a price for your vehicle, the make and model of the vehicle will be taken into consideration when determining the price. All vehicles are crushed on site and you will be given a
DVLA Certificate of Destruction. When a Certificate of Destruction (COD) is issued it confirms that the vehicle has been registered as scrap with the DVLA. It removes all responsibilities from you as the registered keeper.
You will need to have with you a valid photocard driving licence for ID purposes (other forms of acceptable ID are listed on our photo identification
page) and the vehicle's registration document V5. You will be paid onto your bank card if you have a VISA debit or by bank transfer if you have another card type.

Please note that all vehicles will need to be free from any other forms of non metallic waste.
All LPG vehicles will need to have the gas tanks removed prior to scrapping.
